![]() Week One | Week Two | Week Three | Play-off Update Team Updates Team Aurum Laguna This team is coming together with a 1-1 record. Ben Bodensteiner had a good week with 11 points and 6 rebounds and would have done more if not for a injury in the second game. David Hyun(10 points) and Martin Lee(12 points) contributed with their play. Aurum Laguna also had a solid preformance with 13 points and 10 rebounds. If this team can find some consistency, they can go deep in the playoffs. Team Dae Wong Kang They went 0-2 in two very close games. Dae Wong had a solid day with 12 points and 11 rebounds. And even though they might have gone 0-2, this team has good supporting players in Charles Santiluka(6 points), Kevin Bauer(6 points), and Lawrence Tai(6 points). Mike Kim was his usual self with 4 points, 4 assists, and 9 rebounds. Stanley Wu is also showing to be a good role player with 4 points and 4 rebounds. This team needs to find a solid perimeter game if they want to make some damage in the playoffs. Their solid rebounding will keep them steady but can only take them so far. Team Dan Song With the return of Cory Funk, Dan's team was able to 2-0 in two very close games. Joe Jun(11 points, 6 assists) was spreading the wealth as John Kim(6 points), Cory Funk(10 points, 12 rebounds) and Dan Song(12 points) were the beneficiaries. Eric Hsiao contributes as well with 4 points. This is a well balanced team that is gelling at the right time. Watch out for them in the playoffs. Team Dave Kang Without their two big men Michael Jung and Chang Sik Hwang they went 0-2 this week. David Shin(11 rebounds, 4 steals) was able to lead them and Eddie Lee(6 points, 4 steals) had a great day. John Lee got to score his first points of the summer but he went crazy and missed the next 7 shots. And Pastor Joe had a great welcome back with 10 points. This team is still trying to find some rythm. They have lost some close games. With their two big men coming back this week, counting them out will be a big mistake. Team Ho Young Moon Team Hoyoung is finished strong with a 2-0 week. Al Navata continues to lead them with 13 points and 4 assists. Travis Steiner had a big day with 15 points. They were able to have balanced scoring with contributions from Mark Nguyen(6 points), Mark Zielinski(10 points), Peter Kim(12 points), and Patrick Sayaphoum(4 points). Team Hyung Ro They went 1-1 this week, but appear to be ready for the playoffs. Charles Han(20 points, 10 rebounds) and Marques Pearson(10 points) helped lead this team. Mike Oh (4 points, 4 steals, 4 rebounds) and Rich Kang(4 rebounds) help make this a solid team with their unselfish play. Team P. Jong Park Look out for this team. They are the #1 seed with a 2-0 week. They are balanced everywhere with Pastor Jung(9 points, 7 rebounds) having a great game. Marc Glanton is continuing his solid play with 6 points and 19 rebounds. They have been becoming more solid with the play of Karl VanRoeckel(10 points, 4 rebounds). Heath Lord led the team with 17 points, but the best suprise came from Pastor Jong Park playing point and giving his teammates opportunities to score. Team P.Min/Kenny Kim They went 2-0 in two exciting games where Pastor Min won one game on free throws and Kenny Kim made a game winning shot in another. Mike Illuzi(24 points) is the backbone of the team and Pastor Min(10 points) is the leader, directing his players. With Kenny kim(8 points) and Ki Kim(10 points manning the wing positions, this is a very balanced attack. Mike Magrino was also able to add a scoring punch with 4 points. On a side note, Sebo Depper wins the bragging rights in the first annual horizon hobby classic match up against Peter Min's team. 3 players on his team all work for Sebo. Once again, Sebo showed them who's the boss. Team Kevin J. Kim Without KJ, Jinbae, and Kevin Ward, they struggled again to a 0-2 record. They participated, along with Sam Huh, in history making 3-3 game due to their low attendance. Mike Kim had 4 points and 9 rebounds to lead this team, and Sung Cho showed his gritty play with 6 rebounds. It's tough when you dont have the two leading scorers on the team. Someone will have to step up if they want to get past the first round. Team Lester Cruzat Lester Cruzat led his team to 2 wins even without MC Neal for a second straight week. John Lee had a better week with 15 points. Fasi Asadi(6 points) and Gabe Huang(6 points) also helped with the scoring. Henry Cho might have not scored, but he was instrumental in their wins with his defense and 12 rebounds. Jong Ho Kim was able to help out with 2 steals and 2 rebounds. This team is full of unsung heroes who just play their hearts out. This will be a very dangerous team once MC comes back. Team Matt Lee This team is finally looking good with the appearance of Steve Roeckemen(16 points, 23 rebounds) as they went 1-1. Matt Lee(4 points) thought he was in an AND1 Video with some crazy moves and Cody continued his shooting prowess with 4 points. With Tom Costello(12 points, 17 rebounds) in the middle watch out for this team. Team Mike Park Thy had a solid week with a 1-1 record. Bruce Latimer(12 points, 8 rebounds) is helping to lead this team with Kyung Kim(14 points, 7 rebounds) Jeetah Suh came back to pull down 10 rebounds and Chris Anello continues to contribute every week with 4 points and 9 rebounds. Mike Park is finally becoming the point guard we knew he could be with 3 assists. Team Min Kim Without their guards Dennis Cho and Min Kim this team fell to 0-2 this week. But they almost pulled it off with really good performances by Jeff Ma(28 points, 16 rebounds) and John Lee(8 points). Dave Kim got to show his all around skills with 4 points and 9 rebounds. And Jason Cheng continued to score off offensive rebounds with 6 points. Team Peter Min They struggled this week with an 0-2 record. Matt Core is proving to be an instrumental player with 18 points and 12 rebounds. Mookie Lee(4 points, 7 rebounds) and Victor Chang(7 points) contributed with their tough play and Benjamin Sander(14 points, 4 assists, 6 rebounds) might make first team with his consistent play. Will Peter Min be able to step up and lead this team through the playoffs. Team Rich Woo Rich Woo's team went 1-1, but was almost able to pull off an undefeated week if not for a last seond miss at the buzzer. This team is led by Tom Kim(14 points, 8 rebounds) and Rich(14 points, 4 steals), but they continue to get strong efforts from Mike Yoo(6 points, 8 rebounds) and James Lee(4 points, 5 rebounds). The 1-2 punch of Tom and Rich will give teams some major match-up problems in the playoffs. Team Sam Huh Team Sam Huh had a good week with a 1-1 record considering they only had 3 players to work with. Sam Huh had a strong showing with 11 rebounds and Wung Chung again led them with 12 points playing with an injured finger. Sae Huh made a splash with 8 points and 8 rebounds. Participated in a history making 3 on 3 game with KJ's team due to low turn out for both teams. Team Sean Lee They went 0-2 as they were missing their best players Joel Park and Scott Roschelle. Sean Lee led them with 14 points and Sak Lee had a good day with 6 points and 6 rebounds. Edwin Liu showed his quick hands with 7 steals and Mike Won pulled down 5 rebounds. Team Youssef Elias They went 1-1 this week. Their team chemistry is coming together led by Youssef(14 points) and Charles Lee(10 points). Chris Roney had a good game with 10 points and Al Kim will be able to keep his 'tough monkey' name with 6 points and 7 rebounds. Team Zion Park Team Zion Park went 1-1 but the win came in an exciting fashion as Joetah Park(4 points, 9 rebounds) hit a turnaround 7 footer as the clock ran out.
