Round Robin Game Rules
  1. All games will be played up to 30 pts with 23 minutes* each game. There are 2's & 3's.
  2. Clock only stops for timeouts, injuries, and during dead ball on last 1 minute of the game. When a game is tied at the end of regulation, we will go into shoot out for tie break. Each team will send 5 players to shoot 1 free throw. The team that makes the most free throws will be the winner of the game. If the game is still tied, then the team will send the remaining players to shoot the free throws.
  3. Each team can call one 20 second time out per game.
  4. No free throws given until the team reaches 5 team fouls. On the 5th foul, shooting foul will be 2 free throws & non-shooting fouls will be 1 and 1. Upon reaching 10th team foul, it will be double bonus and each foul will be rewarded with 2 free throws instead of 1 and 1.
  5. Each players will get 4 personal fouls. Upon committing 4th personal foul, you will be fouled out of the game.
  6. The referees & the summer league staff has the power to call technical fouls. Technical (& flagrant) fouls will result in 1 free throw and posession of the ball. 2nd technical will result in ending the game. The commissioner will decide who will get the win. Reasons for calling technicals include the following: Unedifying trashtalk, Swearing, Arguing with the ref, Fighting (in any form), and other miscellaneous reasons (by staff and referee's discretion
  7. Each team will be assigned to ref & keep scores and stats. Please be aware of your assigned times.
  8. Automatic substitutions will be made when a team reaches 10th & 20th point during the game. If the game is taking exessive amount of time without reaching the designated scoring marker, then a substitution will be made at the 8th & 16th minute of the game, called by the refs.Each side will sub at least 2 people at the same time. You can also make substitution during a time out. If you have exactly 5 players, this rule will not apply. Exception to this rule will be if a player is injured. Then a sub for that player can be made at any time.
*Time has been changed from 24 minutes to 23 minutes in order to adjust accommodate the fixed schedule.
